Primary and Secondary Schools
Children in Beaver County attend schools administered by the Beaver County School District. Currently there are five schools within the county:
Beaver High School (grades 7-12)
Belknap Elementary (Beaver grades K-6)
Minersville Elementary (grades 1-8)
Milford High School (grades 7-12)
Milford Elementary (grades K-6)
Post Secondary Schools
Utah State University maintains a unit in Beaver known locally as "Beaver U"
Southern Utah University located in Cedar City provides Associates, Bachelor and Masters degree programs.
Southwest Applied Technology College (SWATC) in Cedar City supplies training in all vocational pursuits. If industries in the area require specialized training SWATC has a record of being responsive to those needs by altering curriculum to meet the need.
Dixie State College located in St. George also provides Associates and Bachelor degree programs.
Southwest Utah Renewable Energy Traning Center (SUTREC)
The Southwest Utah Renewable Energy Training Center is a joint effort to provide training in the operation and construction of utility scale renewable energy projects. It is a cooperative effort including the following entities:
- The Southwest Applied Technology College
- Milford High School
- The Beaver County School District
- Southern Utah University
- Utah Science and Technology Outreach (USTAR)
- Beaver County Economic Development Corporation
- Utah Department of Workforce Services
- Utah Custom Fit
- Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED)
- Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCU)
- Utah Energy Office
