Utah's Solar Resources (yellow, orange and red) and transmission (purple).Beaver County does not as yet have any solar developments within its bounds.  This is mostly due to the fact that the solar industry is in an earlier stage of maturity than wind or geothermal.  Costs have come down significantly in the past few years and the improvement trend is continuing.  As shown in the above map, Beaver County has abundant resources for solar development and is anxious to work with developers to initiate projects.
